According to this article, we can see that the use of AI is closely related to the emission of carbon dioxide, and the massive use of AI leads to a drastic consumption of electricity and a significant increase in carbon dioxide emissions, which will lead to the greenhouse effect and other environmentally damaging phenomena. However, the speed and efficiency of AI computing is still needed in modern society, so I think that even though most people know that it will damage the environment, we can't actually give up such a convenient tool.
